Top 5 Monthly Best Skin Care Products - April 2016

Welcome to April's Top 5 Best Skin Care Products. I'm not usually one for taking great care of my skin and I know that is super bad. But since being pregnant, my skin has changed a lot and has become a combination instead of being just pure oily like before, so I find it definitely deserves some care now.

5. I started using this for my blackheads back in December, I believe. I was shopping in Savers, saw this for £1 on the side and thought I would give it a try.

I can't lie, I can actually see a huge change in my skin especially when I feel a bit ill or drained and don't feel like doing my skin care routine. You can really tell when I haven't used this on my face. I usually use this every morning and every night but I actually have absolutely no idea how often you're meant to do it so don't trust me on that one.
4. Would you actually consider this as skin care? I don't know, I'm unprofessional like that so lets just consider this skin care for now.

I use this on my skin to take make up off pretty much whenever I use it. This costs me roughly £5.50 online but I'm pretty sure you can get it cheaper in places like Savers.

I would highly recommend this. I have used other eye make up removers that were more up the high end and they were nowhere near as good as this one. This eye make up remover actually also leaves your skin silky smooth. Nice one, Nivea.

3. Okay, so I don't actually use coconut oil much at the moment because I'm too lazy to buy it online and it is way too expensive to buy in high street shops over here.

But what I can tell you is that you can get this one for about £8.50 on eBay and it will actually last you a long time. Whenever I have used this, I have used this on my skin before adding make up and after removing make up and I have also used it to treat my split ends because they get pretty hideous during this time of the year.

I would definitely recommend purchasing this, in fact, I need to follow my own advise and get some next month.

2. I don't usually use many high end products for my face or skin care because I find that most of the time you can find something that does the same for tons cheaper and I can't see anything wrong with saving some cash.

However, I got this in a Glossybox when I first subscribed and have fallen in love with it ever since. It leaves the skin silky smooth and smelling amazing for so long. You can put this on and then have a shower and your skin will still smell like this after your shower.

This product usually costs around £21 but you can sometimes get them brand new and for under £10 when bidding on eBay.

1. And finally this has to be my number one for this month. I haven't been using it for long but have already seen such a huge difference on my skin.

I have used this before adding make up to my face and it makes the face feel so much softer, once dried on the face it also works as a great skin primer and your foundation or bb cream will actually look a lot more natural on the face.

I believe this costs almost £13 but is it worth it?Yes, it is. Remember that Lush also have different facial moisturizers, different ones work better on different skin types so if you have a different skin type to me, this may not do a lot on you.

Lush Cosmetics London Mini Shopping Haul

So, on Friday we went to London. We had never actually done any shopping in London on Oxford Street before and had other things to do so we got as far as finding Lush and then having to get transport back home, so this haul is literally tiny. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks and pop in there to get more things with a lot more time. Even though we didn't have time, we still managed to get a mini tour of the store which was awesome, and the customer service was on point.

I don't want to go into too much detail on each product as I want to do separate posts for each this week, but here are the products we bought on Friday:

I was so overly excited about this one, this was literally the first one I picked up. Since I got pregnant, I have really been struggling to find a facial moisturizer that is right for my skin so as soon as I saw these on display I had to go see them. The scent is absolutely amazing and smells so natural and fresh.

I haven't actually given this moisturizer a try yet so I'm really looking forward to it and also looking forward to reviewing it for you guys soon.
We were shown the different perfumes and what they smelled like, and then I noticed that most of them had pots next to them. Now, since it was our first time in Lush, we obviously wanted to know what they were. Turns out they are little pots of solid perfume.

Usually I like perfumes that are a little more sweet and flowery but for some reason I was really drawn to this one, and let me tell you this one smells absolutely amazing. I have been putting it on my temples, neck and the tips of my hair and the scent lasts all day.

We weren't initially going to buy any shower or bath based products. We smelled a few bottles but weren't really drawn to any of them until we smelled this one.

This one smells absolutely amazing, I can't wait to try it soon and let you know how I find this product. This has to be the best smelling shower cream we have ever purchased, it's too heavenly.

During our mini tour, we were shown to the make up section. In my head, all I kept thinking was ''oh my god, they do make up?''. We were shown a bunch of different products but I have to say that the lipsticks are what really caught my eye.

I tried a few on my hand and this one was the one I was drawn to the most. The color looks amazing on my skin and I can literally say I will be ordering more of this one as soon as I finish it. I can tell I will be wearing this on most days.

During our mini tour, my partner really liked the smell of this one when we were over at the fragrance section. When we were paying he ended up getting it for free.

Lets face it, we all love free things so we were super pleased with that. This one has such a nice smell, he has been wearing it pretty much since we got home from the day out and I can tell you, the scent stays all day and people don't have to be at such a short distance of you to smell it.

Over all, we absolutely loved shopping at Lush in London. We will be having to go back to London in a few weeks and will definitely pop back in there to get a few different bits. I can already tell we will be Lush regulars. Can't wait to try everything we bought.
